Students representing eight elementary schools and AASD The Learning Express Preschool thanked the AASD Board Members on January 22 with a special recognition. Students shared their love for reading by presenting each board member with a book selected by their school. The books included a book plate honoring the board member for their service and commitment to Altoona Area students and were donated to the Altoona Public Library Youth Room on their behalf.
