Cranberry students, Mr. Wenner, and Mr. Anthony joined Dale Luthringer from the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources to capture, measure, and release Eastern Hellbenders in our local streams yesterday.
This activity helps track population numbers on our local streams and catalogs a variety of other characteristcs for this interesting amphibian.The Eastern Hellbender is the official amphibian of Pennsylvania.
