The Millcreek Education Foundation garners support for projects, programs, teacher/staff grants, and student scholarships and initiated the Full STEAM Ahead program that just completed its third year. Full STEAM Ahead is a before school, girls only, STEAM hands-on, interactive program for 5th grade girls in the 5 Millcreek Township Elementary Schools. Students are introduced to women mentors working in the field and participate in activities in 8 learning sessions. This is a “Make and Take” experience with the idea that each student will make something, take it with them to show their peers, their family, and others.
